HOW WE ACHIEVE OUR AIMS

We have in place specialist Standard Operating Procedures and custom designed processes to ensure that our procedures are both robust and flexible. This is reassuring for clients receiving their medication from us since these procedures are designed to make sure that an enquiry regarding any aspect of medication supply from the pharmacy is dealt with appropriately and with the emphasis on a resolution to satisfy the client making the call or sending the fax or email.


Although the provision of such processes and Standard Operating Procedures may not be unique to us, we know that the attention to detail gained from our experience in this specialist sector is unique to us.

OUR AIMS

Are straightforward in that we aim to provide our clients with a Monitored Dosage System and the necessary Pharmacy Support that works for them.


If the client is a Care or Nursing Home, our Sales and Pharmacy team will meet with the clients to ensure the choice of Monitored Dosage System will satisfy requirements and that their staff and their clients are happy and confident to use it. We will provide training to facilitate this.


If the client is a resident in their own home or a carer for a resident in their own home, then we will carry out an on-site assessment of the client and talk through the options available and ensure that an appropriate system is put into place that the client and their carers are completely satisfied with.

WE ARE SPECIALISTS

We do not have a retail premises and thus can concentrate on the provision of pharmacy services to the Care Sector from our custom fitted Pharmacy unit.


Other pharmacies may not have the time to concentrate their efforts on the provision of such a specialist supply service if they have a retail business to run alongside. We would rather not compromise our efforts.


Communication Strategy

We know that contacting your Pharmacy is extremely important. To that end we have looked to innovative and extensive solutions through the use of IT.


We have deployed a Fax to Email Facility, allowing us to view and deal with faxed enquiries which are transferred to us as Emails, a more robust system than a paper fed fax machine. We can view these Emails both on site and when not on site during Out Of Hours periods, they can be viewed on any Internet enabled computer or email enabled phone.


This allows us to operate far more effectively in our provision of emergency medication to clients especially during our Emergency Out of Hours Service.


All such faxed messages are retained and can be researched should the need arise, thus protecting clients and pharmacy alike.


We operate with a single contact telephone number for all calls during pharmacy opening times and Out of Hours service times. This makes it easier for clients to contact us when they need to. We use a specialist telephony services provider to achieve this along with the digital recording of ALL calls made to the pharmacy.
